i was browsing the forums, here, to be more exact, and i saw that you could use ascii passwords. i tried to change my password to one and it said i didn't use alphanumeric characters.. was it possible at one point and not now? just wondering.

hmm.... your right....
i guess its been changed to not allow any of those, cause i know for a fact that i used to use them all the time

I have tried and it did not let me use ascii chars. I know yahoo lets you use ascii chars.

aha!
yes... that reminded me lol... in older versions of aim, the way to change your password was built into aim itself. This was even included in 4.8..... but the wise <span style='color:red'>Nuggets</span> decided to change it, and they secretely made it so it goes through the web form now instead of the aim client. i say secretely because when they changed it (in version 4.8 ), they never changed the build number nor version number....... sneaky bastards. If you still have an aim 4.7 client i believe you might be able to do it that way, but i cant really test it out.... .....if any1 can verify that it can be done with an older version, please let us know
