yeahh i know about that...but it is kinda hard to install at least for me it was b/c i couldnt find it..untill i found it in temporary folder

Thats why you download it and extract it in your "My Documents" folder for easy access . If you installed it and ran the certificate from the Temporary Internet Files folder, make sure not to empty your temp files in IE.

i never really understood the whole crapload bout why regular everyday people like you and me would need or even want an encryption key.....

both parties have to have them to be able to have an encrypted conversation.... so........ blah


but ierno.... i am still running AIM 4.8, so yeah.... .maybe im just getting old and i fear change

I had a generic cert (ya that does a lot of good :rollseye but to be honest it drove me nuts seeing the lock by my name, people asking why their was a lock by my name, and the stupid extra text the secure IMs have...

I used it for less then a week and I doubt I will ever go back. To be quite honest I'm not too worried about people looking at my IMs over the internet, and even if they do its pretty rare that I talk about anything other then personal stuff I wouldn't want others to see (If the FBI finds out I love a girl and I only told one person I doubt their going to blab it ).
